APPENDIX A: Guide to providing direct links to content in the Walden Library databases
Providing direct links to articles and other sources in the Walden Library can be tricky. In a few of our resources you can use the URL as it appears in your browser. However, in more than half of our databases you must find the database-assigned permanent URL for each individual document to ensure that the link will work consistently for all users. This guide will help you find the correct link to use in each of our databases.
Please Note: Always make sure you are going through the Walden Library to access databases when looking for articles to use in courses or share with other Walden users. This will make sure that our Walden authentication information is included in the URLs generated.
Every direct link should have the string “ezp.waldenulibrary.org” visible somewhere in the URL – this shows that our authentication has been accounted for and included.
