How to Find a Specific Article in the Walden Library

If you have a citation for a specific article, you can use Thoreau, our virtual catalog.
  • Click on the Thoreau button found in the left column of any library web page.
  • On the Thoreau page, look for the "Course Reading Quick Search" box on the left hand side. Type the title of the article in this box.
  • Click on the "Search" button and wait for the search to finish. It will say "Complete" when it is done.
  • When the search is complete, scroll down the list of results until you see your article. Once you find it, click the "View" button to get the full text of the article.

You can use these directions whenever you need to find a required reading in the databases. Please let us know if you have any other questions about this or if there is anything else we can help you with.
