PDF Tips A PDF reader program is required to open and view PDF files. Adobe Acrobat Reader is the original and most common reader application. It can be downloaded for free at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html Opening PDFs in the Walden Library databasesMany of the articles in the databases are available in PDF Format. Look for links to PDF Full Text in your search results. These are often marked with an Adobe PDF icon like this: To save a PDF:At the top of the Adobe Reader page there will be a gray toolbar with a number of icons. To print a PDF:Again, look at the toolbar at the top of the page. Usually, clicking the print icon will open a window for your local printer, giving you a chance to adjust settings like number of pages or copies, orientation, etc. You will need to click the "Print" or "Ok" button in your printer window to complete the printing process. |
